TVTAP Winter Challenge – Don’t Forget to Update those Miles!

We are two weeks in to the Winter Trails Challenge! Please make sure you are uploading you miles here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1U-xzrLazqIPGkkmHDVL9yBbU0vN7u98zVilXxL5lZbo/viewform?edit_requested=true

As of now, we will need a BIG push to hit our mileage goal. Thankfully, our fundraising goal is looking good as we are 41% to goal!

This week TVTAP is doing prize giveaways. Top individual fundraiser for the week will receive a $100 gift card to Peaked Sports.

Top fundraising team will get 4 $50 gift cards to Peaked Sports. A $50 gift card to Garage Grown Gear will go to the top mileage to date. Also, they will be giving away TVTAP socks and tumblers for random prize drawings. All this will happen on 2/7.

Future drawings will include upcycled tote bags, gift cards to Yostmark, Peaked Sports and Garage Grown Gear. We’ll also be giving away free overnight stays at the Maytag Yurt located in the Big Holes. Fitzgerald’s has promised some fat bike swag and Grand Targhee has donated room nights, lift tickets and a 22/23 season pass! Keep logging those miles and reaching out to your peers to help TVTAP hit their fundraising goal. As always, if you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to dan@tvtap.org.

So Much Fun!

Coach Kathy’s Teewinots were having tons of fun in yesterday’s blustery chilly conditions; just imagine how great it could be today with a couple inches of fresh snow, lots of sunshine, warm temps, and miles and miles of fresh Husky grooming!  A pretty big crowd has already been out smiling today, there’s still plenty of time for you to have so much fun.

Calendar 1-31 (800x225).jpg

A correction is in order, thankfully Coach Katie checked in that this upcoming weekend’s high school race is in Lander, not Casper.  It looks like a great weekend for a road trip; if you’re so inclined, head on over and cheer on the team.  You can learn more about skiing around Lander at landernordic.org.

P2010002 (800x600).jpg

The couple of inches that have fallen since yesterday’s grooming were much appreciated and the Husky has been hard at it today, whipping it all into shape.  Pretty much every woods trail received a skate/classic pass with really nice classic skiing today.  The fields received multiple passes with fresh double classic tracks and lots of room for skaters.  In addition all of the courses for the upcoming Junior National Qualifier were groomed as well.  No matter where you ski today, you will find nice conditions, possibly even a top ten day!

Groomer’s choice for today is the East Fields.
