Description:

NOTE; CLOSED TO DOGS DEC 15-APRIL 15TH (NEW IN 2020).

The Yeti Trail is a new (2019) trail groomed by Teton Valley Trails and Pathways (TVTAP.org), with easy access from Victor and only 20 mines from Wilson. Approx 3 miles long, a gently rolling trail into the lodgepole pine forest, paralleling the power line (though far enough away to not be noticed). Wide enough for a classic and skate track -This trail area is closed to dogs from Dec. 1 -April 15.
Trail starts by heading south from the parking area, along the flat, open meadow. At first fork, bear right, slightly uphill. At next fork, stay left to ski the loop in clockwise direction through a lovely lodgepole pine forest..

At .5 miles, stay left on continual gradual climb. Trail continues rolling in gentle ups and downs. At approximately 1.7 miles, the trail begins to circle to the right, the end of the loop, and turn north, then back east. Return trail with rolling , easy hills- well suited for both skate and classic xc skiing.

Please support TVTAP's superb grooming by purchasing a nordic ski/fat bike sticker or donating at TVTAP.org.
