Partners for Winter Trails

Collaboration is core to who we are and what we do.

The Nordic Alliance is a team of community organizations and enthusiasts practicing and supporting Nordic skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing, and sustainable winter trail recreation in Jackson Hole, Teton Valley, and the Greater Tetons.

We partner with local businesses, non-profit organizations, individuals and public land agencies to build and promote an outstanding Nordic and winter trails community. Partners do amazing work for everyone who uses winter trails! Next time you see a partner, we hope you will join us in thanking and supporting them.

Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center

Our role at the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center Foundation is simple: we support the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center (BTAC). BTAC is a vital resource in our community. Making plans for our winter fun or work often starts with a visit to the BTAC site, whether to read the forecast, read observations, or delve into weather and snow data. We are a large community, of local users and visitors. Recreating in avalanche terrain is a risk – avalanche terrain is referred to as an “unforgiving learning environment”. The role of the BTAC is to provide commercial and recreational users with the information to make the best possible decisions for safe enjoyment.

Camina Conmigo

Uno de los objetivos de las caminatas de Camina Conmigo es ayudar a la fuerza laboral latina de Jackson a disfrutar y conectarse con la belleza del lugar en el que viven y trabajan. Hacemos esto proporcionando a nuestros guías toda la capacitación y recursos que necesitan para sentirse cómodos liderando a otros grupos al aire libre los veranos e inviernos.

CCSAA

Cross Country Ski Areas Association is a professional network of ski areas and related organizations promoting the growth and improving the quality of cross country ski operations. 

Friends of Pathways

Friends of Pathways (FOP) champions a safe, connected system of pathways, trails, bike lanes and sidewalks that encourage active transportation and healthy recreation in our Jackson Hole community.

FOP grooms the singletrack fat bike trail system in Cache Creek.

Friends of the Bridger-Teton

FBT supports the Bridger-Teton National Forest by filling gaps in funding and capacity to complete projects. We partner with businesses and NGOs to make stuff happen. Our forest ambassadors work diligently to educate visitors and prevent things from happening (like wildfires and human/wildlife conflicts), and our educational videos and materials help people prepare before they enter the forest.

Grand Teton National Park Foundation

Grand Teton National Park Foundation (GTNPF) partners with Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) to steward, protect, and enhance all that is special in the park. The Foundation initiates improvements, critical research, and outreach that enrich visitors’ experiences to help create a stable future for Grand Teton National Park.

The Foundation and the Park parter to support the Nordic Ambassador program in the Park.

Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club

Building Champions in Life and Sport 

Founded in 1938, the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club (JHSC) is Jackson, WY’s oldest nonprofit, annually serving over 500 student-athletes in alpine and Nordic ski racing, freeski and snowboard competition, and backcountry education.

JHSC partners with Trail Creek Nordic Center, a great place to ski with grooming every day of the week!

Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park is home to one of the most iconic groomed tracks in North America: the park road that winds below the Tetons. 

Save Teton Pass Trail

A once-in-a-generation opportunity to connect Teton Valley and Jackson Hole with a non-motorized pathway. The challenge: raise $5 million by December 31, 2025, to construct the most crucial segment of the Teton Pass Trail.

Sublette Trails Assocation

Whether you are a hiker, biker, horseback rider or other trail enthusiast, you recognize the value of quality and well organized trail systems. We at Sublette Trails Association believe the development of family friendly recreational trails will foster the long term economic and recreation growth of our region.

Teton Adaptive

Teton Adaptive is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to develop recreation opportunities for people with disabilities living in and visiting the Greater Teton Area. Teton Adaptive serves individuals who have physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities.

Teton County | Jackson Parks & Recreation

The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department (TCJPR) conducts the seasonal grooming for trails in and around the town of Jackson including Cache Creek Nordic, May Park, High School Loops, Emily's Pond, Stilson, Centennial Trail and Game Creek.

Teton County Search and Rescue

The 40 volunteers with TCSAR serve under the jurisdiction of the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, and collectively give back 10,000 hours of rescue-related services every year.

The Teton County Search & Rescue Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Teton County Search & Rescue volunteers through direct support, community education and advocacy. 

Teton Valley Trails & Pathways

Teton Valley Trails and Pathways promotes a trails and pathways connected community. The organization brings together citizens, businesses, and local governments to expand the Valley’s opportunities for outdoor recreation and nature appreciation, while linking communities, providing access to National Forest trails, and promoting healthy mountain lifestyles.
