The Groomers make the Magic...The Nordic Alliance tells you about it.
Both are supported by generous contributions from community members, visitors, business sponsors, grants and the good old-fashioned work of non-profit fundraising.
About half of the groomed trails in our region are free to ski. That's on purpose. The winter trails community wants to make getting out on winter trails accessible. But of course, they are not free to groom.
- For trails that do not require a trail pass, please consider a contribution that matches your use and ability to support.

Friends of Pathways
Friends of Pathways champions a safe, connected system of pathways, trails, bike lanes and sidewalks that encourage active transportation and healthy recreation in our Jackson Hole community. They groom almost 20km of singletrack in Cache Creek, raising funds each winter through partnerships and their Grooming Initiative.
Grand Targhee Resort Nordic
Wind through wooded glades, aspen groves, and scenic meadows on our groomed Nordic trail system. Whether you’re classic cruising, skate skiing, or snowshoeing, this is the peaceful side of winter with plenty of fresh mountain air. Season pass, day pass and, if applicable dog passes for purchase online or at the Activity Center.
Grand Teton National Park Foundation
The GTNP Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to fund projects that enhance Grand Teton National Park’s cultural, historic, and natural resources and to help others learn about and protect all that is special in the park. The Foundation initiates improvements, critical research, and projects that help better connect visitors to the park, creating a stable future for Grand Teton and the experiences of those who visit. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
From the first tram rides to record-breaking winters, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) has been shaped by decades of passion, adventure, and big-mountain spirit. JHMR partners with their neighbors and grooms the Gray Meadow Trail and the Teton Village Trail.
Shooting Star Nordic Center
A summer golf community with 15km of dog-friendly Nordic trails. The Shooting Star Nordic tracks are set and groomed daily. Rental equipment and lessons are available through the Nordic shop. Season pass required.
Teton County / Jackson Parks and Recreation
Parks and Rec work to enhance the quality of life for those who live here, and the experience for those who visit, through facilities and programs that contribute to public health, safety, and welfare. And in the winter, they groom! In 2024, with grant support, they purchased a new PistenBully 100 and have put it to work from Cache Creek to Game Creek, May Park to Stilson. Seasonal grooming occurs generally from December 15th to March 15th each year.
Teton Pines Nordic Center
Teton Pines Nordic Center is located at the Teton Pines Country Club in Wilson, Wyoming, just 4 miles south of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and 10 minutes from the town square in Jackson. We maintain 16km of track groomed daily for both skate and classic cross country skiing techniques. Our trails are great for all abilities with the rolling terrain and fantastic vistas of the Tetons. Lessons, shop and rentals available. Trail passes required.
Teton Valley Trails & Pathways
Promoting a trails and pathways connected community. TVTAP brings together citizens, businesses, and local governments to expand the Valley’s opportunities for outdoor recreation and nature appreciation, while linking communities, providing access to National Forest trails, and promoting healthy mountain lifestyles.
TVTAP grooms: Teton Canyon, Alta, Driggs, Horseshoe Yurt, Teton Reserve, Sherman Park, and Southern Valley Nordic and Singletrack. Seasonal Trail Stickers are available to support grooming for the season.
Trail Creek Nordic Center
This is the training facility for the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club (JHSC) Nordic and Biathlon teams. Building champions in life and sport, JHSC was founded in 1938, is Jackson, WY’s oldest nonprofit, and annually serves over 500 student-athletes. Thanks to a collaborative partnership between Trail Creek Ranch, the Seiffert Family, and the United States Forest Service, members of our community have the unique opportunity to use the Trail Creek Nordic Training Facility. Purchase Trail Pass (required).
Turpin Meadow Ranch
Originally designed by two former Nordic Olympians, Hans and Nancy Johnstone, the terrain at Turpin Meadow Ranch has something for everyone offering flat ski trails in the meadow along the banks of the Buffalo River to heart pumping hills as you climb out of the valley and into the mountains. The historic lodge sits in the middle of the Nordic center, trails are open to the public and rentals available. Skiers, snowshoers, fat bikers and dogs are welcome. Trail passes required.
