Trail Creek

Grooming Daily
Last Update: 1/28

A Nebulous Sky!
A soft and misty day is happening at Trail Creek today; tiny snowflakes are slowly descending through the slightly obscured views of the ridge tops, the warm temps and fresh grooming, together with the fascinating atmosphere making for yet another great day to ski!

Early this morning the Husky ventured out once again, traversing pretty much every trail in the system.  Today’s grooming leaned heavily towards resetting classic tracks in most places with multiple passes through Moose Loop and the fields.  A few grouser tracks were showing here and there although all in all skiing should be great today.

Groomer’s choice for today is Moose Loop.

Shooting Star

Grooming Daily
Last Update: 1/26
Warmer temperatures will continue through this weekend into next week. Skiers may encounter settling and choppy sections on the track. The sledding hill will continue to be groomed only as needed due to the thin snow profile.  We will continue to do our best grooming with the conditions that are thrown at us. With the continuing high temps, anticipate grass and brushy areas to possibly re-emerge. Our grooming schedule and methods may shift in the upcoming week to preserve the track’s lifespan. Next update will be Monday 1/29.

  • Trail conditions are variable and thin areas persist.
  • Walking is not allowed.
  • Sled Hill is Open. Grooming will be as needed.
  • Classic Tracks are set where snow allows.
