Glistening Trails!
As you can see, it’s going to be a busy week at Trail Creek. Almost every day will see practices by multiple teams, save for Friday, when teams head to Lander for the race there.

About two inches fell last night, setting up the perfect conditions for excellent grooming this morning, with kilometers of smooth corduroy to explore and not a trace of drifting to be seen. Temperatures are rising gradually, which should make for fast and excellent skiing throughout the day, something that should be appreciated as we look forward to near-40-degree temps towards the end of the week.

Today’s grooming was with the Husky and set almost every trail in the network. Classic tracks were reset, with all wooded trails receiving at least one pass, and the fields getting two passes and parallel classic tracks, as well as grooming on the various stadiums(the main stadium, the lower stadium, Lolipopper Land, and Skyview).

Groomer’s choice for today is Black Hole/Boiler.

Turpin Meadow Ranch

Grooming Daily
Last Update: 1/8
I reworked the flats this morning as that is where most of our guests ski. The hilly trails are in great shape from yesterday’s groom and did not get a lot of pressure so they did not get re groomed this morning. All in all today is going to be a wonderful day to ski, snowshoe, and fat bike at Turpin; the sun will be shining and the entirety of the JH Nordic Alliance will be here celebrating winter trails and the Nordic community.

Turpin Meadow Ranch is open to all for skiing, lodging, dining, Nordic lessons, and tours! Ours is a short season so be sure to plan a visit this winter between now and March 13, 2022. Call the office (307) 543-2000 or visit our website to book your adventure and/or meal

Classic Track: Not Set | Fat Bike Trails: Closed | Snowshoe Trails: Open
A few inches overnight will set the stage for a larger storm rolling in in Monday evening. After a relatively sunny weekend, a quick-hitting storm is poised to hit the Tetons. Expect the winds to pick up in the afternoon as warm air from the pacific brings another blast of snow to the Tetons.

Remember, singletracks will be closed when there is more than 3 inches of snow in a 24 hour period.
