Winter Trails Ambassadors Needed
Support Grooming in GTNP
Grand Teton National Park Foundation began grooming the Teton Park Road last week. We need your help to provide this experience to visitors through mid-March. Support grooming in Grand Teton TODAY.
This winter marks the seventh consecutive year that Grand Teton National Park Foundation has funded regular grooming of the Teton Park Road between the Taggart Lake and Signal Mountain trailheads.
The goal is to groom three days a week—weather depending—through mid-March. We have $15,000 left to raise to make this a reality.
Donate today to ensure that you and all park visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of Grand Teton National Park this season.
Thank you and happy holidays!

The Bonfire is Back!
After a hiatus of a few years, the Holiday Bonfire is making a return to Trail Creek Nordic Center at 6-8 PM on Saturday, December 28th; also for your calendar on the 28th is the Betty Woolsey Classic Race at 10 AM. I will be an awesome Nordic day, get your kick wax on in the morning and then come back in the evening for some great socialization and fun.
It is a little calmer today at Trail Creek with many high school racers off to Laramie for this week’s Wyoming High School Nordic competition. The forecast inch of snow has not happened and the 10:45 AM conditions are cloudy, calm, and with a temperature of -2ºC/29ºF.
Today’s grooming was primarily Pisten Bully best line skate passes on most trails. If you are looking for adventure some of the rabbit trails in East Field Woods were set this morning and there was also a pair of medium sized mule deer bucks hanging in that vicinity as well. Most classic tracks are in pretty good shape and all in all it is a great day for a Nordic ski.
Groomer’s choice for today is Armin’s.

It will be cloudy this morning, but the sun will begin to poke through as the day goes on. There is a 60% chance of snow, but little accumulation is expected. Today will be one of those magical days when the sun rays are shining through the clouds and it’s snowing at the same time, and you say, “woaaaaaah, life is good!”
