Trail Creek Nordic
Last Updated: 12/21
Good Looking Group!
A gathering of JHSC Nordic professionals was taking place this morning as the coaching staff was having a training session. They are always hard at work, trying to bring the optimum experience to all the youth they work with when it comes to things Nordic, keep up the good work JHSC coaches!
The high school coaches are busy today as well, racing at Happy Jack near Laramie. The Laramie Boomerang has a report here although you do need a subscription to read the article. Any results or pictures would be appreciated so they could be posted in an upcoming report.
Today at Trail Creek in addition to a bunch of coaches, there has been a pretty good crowd of skiers as well. The sunny skies, calm winds, and the temperature at a very balmy 1ºC/33ºF must have something to do with that.
The grooming today was with the Pisten Bully and was a best line skate pass of all trails along with a reworking of the classic tracks in the field. While a little fresh snow would be nice, all in all conditions are really nice. What would appear to be the same cow moose and twin calves we have been seeing lately were hanging in the Shades of Gray area.
