Groomer Report from Trail Creek
After a bit of a disappointing snow period, things are changing at Trail Creek. The snow began to fall about the time grooming began yesterday morning. As of report time, totals are approaching 3-4 inches for the day so far.
Yesterday’s grooming began with several laps in the close field by the Husky. At that time the snow was still a little thin after recent rain events for the Husky to proceed into the woods so the Ginzu finished the day with multiple passes on pretty much every trail in the woods.
As of report time it is still extremely beautiful at Trail Creek and snowing hard.
Groomer Report from Shooting Star
Snow coverage remains thin and will hopefully improve over the next few days as multiple storms are forecasted through Sunday. Skiers should expect storm skiing and unpredictable conditions throughout this weather cycle. Good times can still be found on the trails, but please keep up with the forecast as the weather could get rowdy. Reminder we only groom once a day during the early morning hours. Next update will be Saturday (12/28) and see the following trail notes. Stay safe and enjoy!
- Walking, Running, Biking, Snowshoeing are not allowed.
- No Classic Tracks Set due to lack of Snow
- Sled Hill is Open and will not be regroomed until more snow accumulates.
