One of the best ways to introduce your 3 year old to “sliding on snow” is through nordic skis. Did you know nordic boots are made down to size 25 Euro for children? Nordic skis are made down to 90cm? Bindings are NNN Turnamic. Boots that are comfortable, skis that move easily, and simple bindings…what more can you ask for to make for a fun, first experience.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
It’s a great day to take your sweetheart out for lovely Nordic ski! A chance to improve the relationship and a little exercise never hurts anything; grab your sweetheart for a Valentine’s Day ski today.
There is some very serious Valentine’s Day skiing going on 250 miles to the south at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center. Results are starting to pour in with some impressive finishes by our athletes; you can follow along at Summit Timing’s website.
As of 11:30 AM light snow is falling, there is a gentle breeze, and the temperature is -3ºC/27ºF. Today’s grooming was a Pisten Bully best line skate pass of almost every trail with the addition of new classic tracks throughout the fields. All in all conditions are really nice and you should be able to find joy (and love?) wherever you go.
Groomer’s choice for today is to ski with your sweetheart.

Our trails are in GREAT condition! All trails firmed up nicely with the cold temps over night. They are running hard and fast! We reset the skate lane with the Ginzu this morning and the classic track is in perfect condition throughout the trails. We will maintain all trails this weekend during the expected storm so don’t let the snow stop you from coming to the Buffalo Valley this weekend! We’ve got great food in our cozy lodge and a fire always going. Bring your dog!

The Nordic track is in great shape! Look for cold and calm conditions through Thursday followed by another round of snowy wintery weather over the weekend. As always, trails may become drifty after our morning grooming if the next weather system brings high winds. Enjoy all the new snow!

We purchased a new groomer 2 years ago so we do now have a set cross country track with enough room for skate skiers and/or fat bikes next to the set track.
There are no other services available (ie. No lunch) though dinner is offered Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 5:30pm; Clubhouse amenities are reserved for members only.
We groom the track on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
