This is challenging week for groomers as they try to create a fresh ski surface during warm temps and sticky precipitation. Scheduled grooming will likely be adjusted. If a fresh ski track can make or break your plans be sure to check the grooming page for the most current snapshot.

Pizza for a Purpose
Join the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club (JHSC) at Hand Fire for Pizza with a Purpose tomorrow. Whether you dine in or carry out, a portion of all pizza sales will be donated to JHSC. Support a good cause and remember to wrap your extras in foil, pocket pizza is especially delectable on the trail!
Founded in 1938, Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club provides competitive snow sports training and programming for over 530 student athletes ages 5 to 21. Programs include alpine, backcountry, freeride, and Nordic. JHSC is Jackson’s oldest nonprofit. We frequently send athletes to International competitions and NCAA Division 1 athletic programs, fostering champions in sport and life. JHSC, alumni Breezy Johnson (Olympic Gold in the Alpine Downhill) and Anna Gibson recently competed in the 2026 Olympics.

To Go or Not to Go – is that the question?
No, rather the question is where to go and there is nothing better than having several options! A couple of weeks ago some friends were meeting at Cottonwood Trailhead for a beautiful day on the GTNP road. Others were considering skate skiing from Signal Mountain to Cottonwood. And some thought that Signal Mountain might be a good destination. All choices were excellent! Signal Mountain called for a longer drive and questionable snow conditions. But I was thrilled to find it close to perfect and with a view at the top that can’t be beat! Try it out! Just Go!

Turpin Meadow Ranch
We have full coverage on our trails. Monday offered some sticky conditions but overall there is a lot to revel in here. TMR closes in about two weeks. March 15 is the last day to enjoy the lodge and all of it’s offerings (including cross country ski lessons). So come for the snow and enjoy!
Trail Creek
The closer woods trails (Woosley Woods, Moose Poop, Homeward and Outward Bound) are showing a few icy patches but beyond that things are still pretty nice. To preserve the snow today, the Ginzu made a quick loop throughout the woods.
In the East Fields where grooming only initiated recently, trails are struggling a bit. We will probably keep the Husky off of them until more snow arrives. The Close Field still has good coverage with the main problem being patches of ice showing up (see photo).
TVTAP
Due to a lack of snow and dry pavement on Centenneial Pathway in many spots, TVTAP can not groom. The Pathway is open, but unmaintained. Winter trials users should look to Teton Canyon and Southern Valley Nordic trails for Winter trail enjoyment.
Teton Pines
There is still some snow out here but we are unable to groom until we get cold temps and snow. There are a few decent areas on the track but lots of grass and pavement you have to navigate as well.
Punchcard and season pass holders please ski now because we are not sure what the next couple of weeks may bring. If you do ski, ski at your own risk. Early season conditions exist on our entire track.
Even though we had unprecedented weather this year we were still able to have good skiing the from late December through February. Many XC ski areas in the western US were barely able to open this season and some, not at all!
We will be in the shop from 9-1 this week. We will update you on skiing and shop hours as the week unfolds. Thanks for your support this season!

Come be a part of the American Ski Marathon Series—North America’s longest-running and largest citizen’s racing and touring series, highlighting long distance ski events throughout the country. March 7, 2026.
And it is in our backyard on some phenomenal trails with excellent grooming.
