Event Spotlight: JH Nordic Masters Recreational Clinic – Skate Ski Clinic
If you haven’t yet, here’s another chance to join us for a Recreational Master’s Clinic. Here’s the rundown:
What is it? The JH Nordic Rec Masters Program is for recreational skiers to improve their techniques, with an average of 10-13 skiers and 1-2 coaches per clinic. Useful tips and fun rounded out every session, more miles and time on both classic cross-country and skate skis.
Who is it for? The clinic is open to all, however, if you are a first time skier or beginner, we recommend taking a lesson or two from Teton Pines Nordic Center to get a strong foundation on your skills and technique.
What is the fee? Drop-in: $35 (includes Teton Pines full day trail pass) or
- Full Season (8 clinics): $225 (includes Teton Pines day trail pass)
- For exisiting Teton Pines season pass holders/TP members: $200
- $30 with Teton Pines Nordic season pass/Teton Pines members
- Free JHNordic neck gaiter “buff” to full season participants

Top of the Podium!
Our very own Elijah Weenig won the 10 K skate race yesterday in Soldier Hollow yesterday and the good news has continued today with lots of great finishes. Check out all the results at Summit Timing’s website. Thanks to the Weenig’s for the image.
Noon conditions at Trail Creek are -5ºC/23ºF with a light breeze and moderate snowfall. Another winter storm warning is in effect with a forecast of up to eight inches. Overnight about 2 inches has fallen.
Yesterday’s grooming was an initial Pisten Bully skate/classic pass of almost every trail followed by Pisten Bully skate grooming in the close woods and fields. The Ginzu was able to do a nice job of buffing out the rest of the skate lanes in the far woods with the result being that wherever you go you should find some nice skiing, as long as the snow doesn’t get too deep.

The Nordic track is in great shape! Look for cold and calm conditions through Thursday followed by another round of snowy wintery weather over the weekend. As always, trails may become drifty after our morning grooming if the next weather system brings high winds. Enjoy all the new snow!

We purchased a new groomer 2 years ago so we do now have a set cross country track with enough room for skate skiers and/or fat bikes next to the set track.
There are no other services available (ie. No lunch) though dinner is offered Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 5:30pm; Clubhouse amenities are reserved for members only.
We groom the track on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
