Nordic Masters Rec clinic
Coaches by JH Ski Club at Teton Pines Nordic on this past Thursday. Two small groups, technique, exercises, putting new skills into play. And a nice ski around Teton Pines after for a total workout!
Next clinic focuses on classic xc technique, Thursday Jan 9th. Next skate ski clinic: Thurs Jan 23rd. Both at 11am-12:30pm.
New Gold Sponsor: Turpin Meadow Ranch
Welcome new gold sponsor, Turpin Meadow Ranch! A generous host and partner of the JH Nordic Alliance, the ranch is a favorite day trip as well as overnight get-away with beautiful trails through the Bridger-Teton National forest. We love their cozy historic ranch lodge with delicious food, or hanging by the fireplace to curl up with a book.

One Day to Go!
Tomorrow looks to be a great day for the 2019 Betty Woolsey 10 K (5k, 3K, and 1/2 K too) Classic Race! The 10 AM start time forecast is -12ºC/10ºF with mostly sunny skies and calm conditions. Check out the course map at this link and get those skis waxed so you can join the fun tomorrow.
Today’s grooming was two Pisten Bully passes of the field section of the course with fresh classic tracks and a single PB pass best line skate pass through the woods section of the course. Overnight we got about an inch of ultra light snow that didn’t amount to much more than a smattering of magic stardust, but kind of fun to blast through with your skis. 11:45 conditions are calm cloudy and -11ºC/12ºF. If the forecast holds, grooming for the race will be this evening.
Groomer’s choice is to get your Nordic game out to Trail Creek for the Betty Woolsey race tomorrow!
Bonfire Saturday at 6 PM!
The Bonfire is Back!
After a hiatus of a few years, the Holiday Bonfire is making a return to Trail Creek Nordic Center at 6-8 PM on Saturday, December 28th. It will be an awesome Nordic day; get your kick wax on for the Betty Woolsey Classic Race at 10 AM in the morning and then come back in the evening for some great socialization and fun.

Just like the Grand, our trails are SHARP and ON POINT! We groomed last night (12/27) so the trails would set perfectly overnight with the below zero temps. They are fast and looking prime! Come out to TMR this weekend! FREE SKI DAY is Jan. 5! Bring your dog!

Teton Pines Nordic
Last Updated: 12/26
Skiing will be incredible at Teton Pines for the remainder of 2019! The cold temps will allow our track to ski very fast and firm over the next few days. We have skate and classic track set daily.
We still have lesson slots available for next week, but call as soon as possible as they will fill soon.
We have backcountry xc ski packages, skate ski packages, and classic (touring and race) ski packages available. Our sizes are beginning to get more limited, so hurry out if you’d like to get on some new ski gear this winter!

Skiing continues to be fantastic! Our Pistenbully (snowcat) is currently down for repairs and should be running again later next week. In the meantime we’ll continue to groom the skate lanes daily with the snowmobile and ginzu attachment. The classic tracks are still set and should remain great shape, but won’t be touched up again until the snowcat is repaired. Bundle up and enjoy the rest of 2019!
Next Update: Tuesday

We groom the track on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
