Teton Village – New Groomed Bike Path
Caught the groomer at Teton Village last night along the new groomed bike path winter trail- should be nice Nordic skiing, fat biking, walking, trail-running tomorrow. Thanks to Teton Village Association and JHMR for providing grooming!
The new groomed trail runs north from Teton Village to the end of the summer bike trail just south of the GTNP South Gate, and south parallel to the Moose-Wilson Road to the Lake Creek bridge.

Trail Creek Nordic
Last Updated: 12/13
Make It Your Ski Day!
Today would be a great day to come on out to Trail Creek and have long solo Nordic ski. The teams are mostly gone to Idaho skiing at the Sun Valley Supertour so you’ll probably have the trails mostly to yourself. While conditions are just a bit on the soft side due to all the recent snows, the snowfall has basically stopped so you’re going to find lots of fun Nordic cruising.
As of noon the temperature was -1ºC/30ºF with cloudy skies and a light breeze. About 5 inches of snow has fallen since yesterday’s grooming. The Pisten Bully jumped on the trails again today, making mostly a best line skate pass on all the recently groomed trails with the addition of classic passes on the close field and Moose Loop for the first time of the year. You might also discover some new minor trails in the Shades of Gray area.
With a relatively dry forecast and a good base, look for most trails to receive full width grooming with classic tracks by early next week.
Groomer’s choice for today is Moose Loop.

Look for the sled hill and snowshoeing areas to hopefully be open a few days after this storm settles (Possibly Monday…TBD). Also, more additional trail signage will continue to be put up through the weekend. Enjoy and stay safe!
