Grooming Updates
From Tyler S. at Shooting Star: Look for Spring skiing to be in full effect with sunny & warm conditions Tuesday through Thursday. Reminder that trails this time of year may be icy in the morning and soft/slushy in the late afternoons. Track settling may also occur as the snow melts and settles. We’ll do our best to provide a fun product during springtime’s erratic shifts in snow quality. Enjoy the warmer days!

From Steve S. at Trail Creek: Even though we’ve been blessed with plentiful late season snows and lots of not too warm temperatures, the end of grooming is eventually going to be upon us. When I Am Among The Trees
May the following poem by Mary Oliver be an inspiration to you to get out and “forest bathe” today.

When I am among the trees,
especially the willows and the honey locust,
equally the beech, the oaks and the pines,
they give off such hints of gladness,
I would almost say that they save me, and daily.

I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly, and bow often.

Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, “Stay awhile.”
The light flows from their branches.
And they call again, “It’s simple,” they say,
“and you too have come into the world to do this,
to go easy, to be filled with light, and to shine.”
