Simply Glorious!
It just doesn’t get much better than this; endless blue sky, calm winds, Nordic friendly -5º/23º temps, and feet of beautiful snow groomed just for your skiing delight. There is still time today to grab those skis and take advantage of winter bliss.
This weekend was amazing at Trail Creek; we want to send out a big thanks to all the participants and especially the volunteers that helped us to launch our inaugural Nordic Carnival. Even though we had howling winds and more or less a raging blizzard, participants from 2 to 82 seemed to have a great time. Amazingly enough even with Gut Flop and the Nordic X course there was only a little blood on the snow, but mostly lots of smiles and Nordic camaraderie.

Today was one of those blue bird, picture perfect days. The trails groomed out perfectly with the snow setting up firmly. Looking at the forecast for the week it looks to be a perfect week for nordic skiing

Snow, snow and more snow! Trails continue to groom our nicely each morning, but may likely become snow covered or drifty during the day as more snowy and windy weather is forecasted to last through Saturday. Calmer and sunnier conditions are expected to return this Sunday and remain through Wednesday. Enjoy the powder and stay safe!

Season Passes are available to non members for $100, passes can be picked up in the admin office at JHGTC M-F 9am-5pm or by calling 307.733.7787.
We purchased a new groomer 2 years ago so we do now have a set cross country track with enough room for skate skiers and/or fat bikes next to the set track.
There are no other services available (ie. No lunch) though dinner is offered Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 5:30pm; Clubhouse amenities are reserved for members only.
We groom the track on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays

Nordic: All trails above groomed this morning. 1-2″ of new snow. Warm, 22F degrees at the Nordic Equipment Building, slight breeze. Cloudy. The plow just went up the road.
Fat Bike 1/30: Lower and upper Kelly Park single track have been groomed as of today. A good base is in place but remember with warmer temperatures adjust tire pressure accordingly to reduce chances of breaking through. Looks like a great weekend to get out and enjoy the wonderful Pinedale outdoors!
