Old Bill's Giving Season: an excellent time to give to the Nordic Alliance!

30 years of community giving.

$306 Million conributed to Teton County non-profits. Quite simply, Old Bill’s Fun Run is incredible.

The Giving Season officially opened Friday, August 14th and runs through 5 pm on Friday, September 18th.

By donat­ing through Old Bill’s Fun Run dur­ing the Giv­ing Sea­son, the impact of each donor’s gift is ampli­fied through the addi­tion­al fund­ing pro­vid­ed by CoChal­lengers in the form of par­tial match­ing grants to par­tic­i­pat­ing nonprofits. You can give to one or all of your favorite nonprofits in the same transaction by adding your choices to one cart through the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.

Saturday, September 12th is run day — come visit us and all of your favorite non-profits in the non-profit village after the race.

Spread joy for winter trails.

The Nordic Alliance gets people out on winter trails by providing comprehensive digital resources, hosting the annual Free Ski Day and being out on trail. Each year the website gets over 130,000 page views from over 40,000 users. All winter long we email the daily trail report to 1400 people at 7:30 in the morning. Over 500 people come celebrate winter trails, public lands and the Nordic community at the free ski day at Turpin Meadow Ranch. And this past winter we connected face to face on trails with over 300 people, sharing trail etiquette tips and tricks and, of course, where you might want to ski tomorrow.

• The app that all of the groomers in our region use to share current conditions across all 280 miles of groomed track.
• Roving Nordic ambassadors and meet and greets.
• The annual celebration of our winter trails community at the free ski, fat bike and snowshoe day.
• The borrow closet of xc skis, boots and poles that gives people the opportunity to try cross-country skiing and supports partner programming.
