Trip Report: Phelps Lake Cross Country and Snowshoe Phelps Lake was the perfect destination this weekend for both snowshoers and skiers!  The lake is nicely frozen providing the extra bonus of skiing across while enjoying 360 degree views.  An extra bonus was provided  by three ice-fishermen who demonstrated their skills by showing us their beautiful 15 inch lake trout.   -Karen D.
