Expect Soft Conditions
We are so grateful for all of the fresh snow, but with it comes soft conditions. Please take that into consideration when choosing your winter sport and trail. If you are fat biking you may have to lower your PSI or choose a firmer route. Snowshoeing is going to be a great workout! There are some groomed trails for skiing with more coming available soon. If you’re looking for something that’s been groomed this morning check out Trail Creek, Teton Pines, Grand Targhee, or Southern Valley. Cache Creek Road was groomed to Noker Mine yesterday.
Bottom line, if you want to get out on a winter trail the conditions are going to be from a story book. The forest is blanketed in a soft quilt of snow that keeps all sound quietly hushed. The tree limbs will be drooped with the weight of new snow and the air will be crisp and clean with the scent of pine.
