Update from the Groomers

Bringing a fresh groom into 2026! Horseshoe Yurt, Teton Valley.

Horseshoe Yurt Trails

9k of trail packed on 12/31. There is enough coverage for an adventure ski.

Southern Valley Single Track

Most of the single track is currently user compacted and rideable. Nick snowmobile packed Happy Hour, but there was not enough snow to do more.

Cache Creek Single Track

There’s still not enough snow to groom any single track but most, if not all, of the Cache Creek area is rideable although with lots of rocks and roots sticking out. Good riding conditions for people who don’t mind some technical moves here and there. 12/31 rode all of Hagen, Hagen Highway, Sink or Swim east of Snow King, Lower Ferrins, the Wiggle and Cache Creek Sidewalk.

The rain earlier in the month turned all the snow into a sheet of ice in the compacted areas and straight up melted most of the rest so we’re only looking at 2 to 5 inches on the ground currently. The forecast is finally looking promising though, so I’m hoping to fire up the sled next week.

Game Creek

Not enough snow on Wednesday but Trevor will head out on Friday to see how much of the track he can roll.
