Access:
Drive north on Hwy 390 (Moose-Wilson Road) to Teton Village, enter into Shooting Star Resort 200 yds. on the left after turning into Teton Village Road. Park in the lot (on the right) before crossing the bridge to the clubhouse. - DO NOT park in the cul-de-sac near the Nordic Center. The Nordic Shop is 100 yds. east. Also a short (400 yds.) walk from Teton Village.
Description:
Shooting Star Nordic Track offers high-quality groomed skate and classic trails covering a combined 15km over flat to gently rolling terrain. The main track consists of one large loop around the perimeter of the golf course with optional tracks inside. Beautiful views of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the Teton Range, while one skis around lagoons and gentle rises and flats.
The full trail network is now open to xc skiing with your dog.
New in Winter 2025 -trails are only open to Shooting Star members and their guests, plus Season Pass holders (available for purchase). No daily ski passes.
Passholders and guests must check in before using the Nordic Trails.
Guests must be accompanied by Passholders at all times.
Skiing Experience: The trails provide a diverse skiing experience, from flat to gently rolling terrain. Dog-friendly trails offer options for pet owners. Stunning views of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, southern Tetons, and north to Buck Mountain and The Grand Teton enhance the skiing experience. Look for bald eagles, trumpeter swans, coyotes in the distant meadows. Utilize trails for skiing only – no hiking, sledding, snowshoeing, biking, etc.
Winter Grooming: Trails are groomed daily (as snow conditions allow) . Check the JH Nordic Grooming page for there latest updates, provided by the Shooting Star grooming team.
Nordic Skiers: Wide rental options for classic cross-country and skate skis are available. Nordic instruction is offered for individual and group lessons.

Dog Owners: The full Nordic ski trail network was opened up to allow dogs with skiers. Dogs must be on a leash at the trailhead, and are not allowed in the Nordic Shop. Always clean up after your dog. (Bags are provided at all trash stations)
Directions:
Check in at the Nordic Shop, on the left (east) side of the main clubhouse. Access to Shooting Star’s main Clubhouse is for Shooting Star members and their guests. The Nordic Shop and track are open from 9 am to 5 pm, daily (weather permitting). The illustrated Nordic Trail map is available at the Nordic Shop. Explore various combinations of loops within the trail system. The trails are well-marked with arrows, allowing skiers to choose from multiple loop combinations. Return to the Nordic Shop.
