General Weather – cold clear nights means firm morning snow

Mountain Weather is showing a lot of blue ahead.

What’s Groomed Today?

Wednesday Grooming:

Daily Grooming:

*With warm/dry weather forecasted for the foreseeable future grooming schedules may adjust to help conserve snow. Trust the folks working the snow, they are going to do their best to keep xc ski conditions in top condition.

If super firm snow is not your preferred surface, the days are warming up enough you might choose a late morning or early afternoon ski instead.

Fat Biking Updates

From Harlan H, the FOP Cache Creek Singletrack groomer:

All the normal winter singletrack in Cache creek is compacted and riding well. There’s still not enough coverage to use the roller on it, but I should be able to groom upper Hagen after the next significant snowfall.

Community Trail Report, Darby Canyon:

The trail is firm and has been groomed this week. Lots of sunshine opportunity. Great place to go with your dog, thanks for all the dog users who have diligently picked up dog poop.

Send us your trail report

It is true we get out a lot. And we spend time talking and texting with other winter trail users and groomers. But we can ALWAYS use pictures and tidbits about conditions and fun times on winter trails. Share a trail report with trailconditions@jhnordic.com and help us be a great community resource.
