Trip Report: Prime Nordic Skiing in the Park!
Lest you think that adventure Nordic skiing is past its prime, think again! Although the “trail” to Two Ocean Lake was mostly hidden, it was not difficult to break trail to the lake – and onwards. We skied almost to the end of the lake (with bear spray) and were struck by the sublime peace and quiet of our adventure. We ate in the middle of the frozen lake under misty clouds and by the time we traveled our 8.5 miles round trip, it had just started to snow. We encourage others to explore this remote and spectacular part of the park!
