Tips for viewing real-time grooming
Real-time grooming updates for the entire region all in one place is one thing we hear a lot of appreciation for. Here are some tips to help you make the most of this amazing asset.
The individual links above in the blue box take you to the trail system page. Once you are there, you can toggle the down arrow in the small box in the upper right to see the groomer’s most recent updates.
- Here, you can also see the percentage of trails groomed in the particular system as well as a breakdown on the difficulty of trails.
- The image is from Trail Creek on the 16th. If you go to Teton Canyon today, you will see Mark was out there at 4:12 am! I bet the moon was beautiful.
- Pick your trail, plan accordingly, and enjoy!
Groomer Reports
Trail Creek Nordic Center
Nearly a foot of snow has fallen since Monday’s grooming here at Trail Creek, bringing us closer and closer to full winter conditions. The Husky was hard at it yesterday and was able to keep whittling away at bringing more and more terrain into the groomed queue.
Yesterday’s grooming included two passes with fresh classic tracks around the Close Field and for the first time also on most of Armin’s. Cle’s was also Husky groomed for the first time this year although Faceplant is still waiting for some Juniors or Devos to ski in the powder a few times before the Husky has enough courage to follow them down. Pretty much everything else except for the East Fields and Mug’s Meadow received a single pass without classic tracks.
Teton Pines Nordic Center
We’re excited to announce that we’re fully open thanks to the 2 feet of fresh snow we received in the past 48 hours. We groom each morning with our snowcat and will have 16km of tracks ready for both skate and classic skiing.
Our shop is open daily from 9am to 4pm, and we invite you to explore our fantastic selection of new clothing and accessories from brands like Swix, Daehlie, Sauce, Toko, and Skida. We also have a complete inventory of skate, classic, and backcountry skis, boots, and poles available.
