Directions:

Beginnings: The trail commences from the north side of the Clubhouse, accessible via a walkway near the Club entrance or a small side trail at the north end of the parking lot. Marked by red-topped wooden stakes for the entire distance, navigation is straightforward even in snowy conditions.

Views: Heading west, the trail offers striking views of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, The Hobacks, Rendezvous Peak, and the southern and central Tetons. This section is an "out-and-back" with a small circle at the end, covering the back nine of the golf course.

Trail Path: The trail to the right forms a wide "M" shaped loop through cottonwoods, aspens, and surrounding homes, which we chose to follow counter-clockwise. After a short stretch across Spring Gulch Road, the trail turns left, following the summer bike/golf cart path east, then left again to cross the road. This brings you back to the main section of the golf course to the north. Exercise caution when crossing the road. Embarking on the "M" shaped loop, the trail heads north, curves briefly south, and then continues north to the final curve.

Return: Enjoy the flat, scenic cross-country skiing, made pleasant by red-topped trail markers guiding the way. The track is open seven days a week, although the Clubhouse is closed on weekends and exclusively available to members midweek.
