Both sides of the Tetons have new Tuesday evening ski options.

Stilson Loop Classic Clinic with Peak Performance on Tuesday evening.

The first of nine clinics took place in just a few inches of snow at the Stilson Loops. Peak Performance excels at providing specific tips for every skier and figuring out good drills for the conditions that are present. Next up: January 22, classic.

Southern Valley Trails, Victor, on Tuesday evening.

GTSSF (race org) and TVTAP (grooming) kicked off the Nordic Night Series community races at the Southern Valley Trails on the west side. From the photos it looks like anyone with a sense of adventure was welcomed back to a pretty cozy race finish!

  •  Teton Canyon
  •  Cache Creek to Noker
  • NB: The Driggs Loops, Sherman Park, May Park and South Park will also be Wednesday grooming once there is enough snow.
  • Check the grooming page – while we are getting closer to regular grooming, we are not there yet. We do our best to bring you the full story every morning, and the most current trail conditions can be viewed online at: www.jhnordic.com/grooming\

Daily Grooming:

***With warm/dry weather forecasted for the foreseeable future grooming schedules may adjust to help conserve snow. Trust the folks working the snow, they are going to do their best to keep xc ski conditions in top condition.

Glad the wait is over and grooming is looking good on the Teton Park Road. Thank you team to the Park for various assessments and prep, Bushong for the grooming and GTNPF for the funding (support grooming here).

Looking for a longer ski?

The Teton Park Road (aka Taggart to Signal) is a great place for a long ski! Beautiful, iconic even, and with the mild days this week the conditions should be quite pleasant.

Looking for an adventure ski? You can filter the 100 or so trails in the searchable trail database by length as well as ski criteria. Then check out the elevation profiles, and trail characteristics to find a good match for something this week.

Happy skiing, fat biking, dog walking and snowshoeing!

Teton Park Road, we are so lucky!

Come race in the Teton Ridge Classic!

Saturday, Jan 31

Classic skiing at it’s finest!

For the last 2 decades the Teton Ridge Classic (TRC) has been one of the premier classic events in the region. Last year we moved to a new venue that is perfect for classic skiing. The start and finish are on a private ranch where we can all gather post-race to swap stories, refuel, and hand out awards.

For 2026 we have a kids 1/2km and 2km. There are also 8km, 14km, and 28km distances. Course maps
