Skier completes all groomed trails in Teton Valley in one day!
When the idea to ski every groomed trail in Teton Valley, ID, in one day popped into 17-year-old Daisha Jacoby’s head, she knew she had to give it a shot. Although her race season as a competitive nordic skier is wrapping up, Daisha’s motivation to continue improving her endurance is not lacking. Like many local athletes, creating an adventure-based endurance challenge seemed like the perfect way to spend a Saturday.
With spring’s sudden appearance in the Tetons and a coating of saturated snow, trail conditions were slick and fast in some areas while other trails presented a cement-like challenge. Untouched grooming, a firm yet edgeable surface, and dynamic terrain on the Alta Track stood out as a highlight. In her words, “I feel so lucky to live in a place where there are so many well-maintained trails open to the public. Skiing them all in one day made me appreciate them so much more!”

The Skinny Skis Wydaho Nordic Race Series – Season Finale Race

This race is open to everyone and has distances of 1K, 5K, and 10K. Come out to race and celebrate a great season of nordic skiing! It should be a great community event!
