General Weather – If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes

Mountain Weather is forecasting some snow, some sun, some clouds… basically a little bit of everything in the next few days with mild temperatures. For a detailed daily forecast check out mountainweather.com.

Trail Report from Shooting Star: Trails are in good shape and should provide enjoyable skiing. Look for periods of wintery weather throughout the week, bringing light daily accumulations. Enjoy!

The weather is all over the place as we begin the transition from winter to spring. One moment it is snowing and then the sun is out, there may be some rain in the valleys and it still looks like midwinter outside of town. Sometimes when the weather is so scattered it is hard to choose between all of the possible outdoor activities that are available to us. While that is not a bad problem to have, it can be overwhelming, so in an effort to ease your decision making try a round of Winter Trails Bingo. Have some fun and see how quickly you can fill your bingo card! Bonus points if you enjoy any of the suggested activities with another person, double bonus points if you introduce someone new to a winter activity.

Make your choices and plan your next outdoor adventures for this week; hopefully we will see you and yours out on the winter trails!
