It’s a GREAT Week to Get Outside

No matter what flavor of outdoor recreation you choose today, you will choose well. Ski and fat bike trails are firmed up, there is great snow coverage in both Teton Valley and Jackson Hole, and the sun is shining! It is a winter wonderland dream out there, be sure to get outside and move to celebrate yourself and this amazing place. For a little inspiration try playing some winter trail bingo, there are plenty of ways to fill your card this week!

Join SheJumps and the ladies of Teton Nordic Ski School for a fun & social Nordic Ski Series in the Teton Valley, skate and classic skiing is welcome. Throughout the series, the ladies ski group will be meeting at different trail systems in Teton valley to give you a taste of all the trails our home has to offer! Join them this Wednesday, January 29th @ 7:00 PM at Sherman Park/Victor Park for a ski under the lights!

What to expect:

Each session will start with a tip of the day, which you can work on throughout the session as you meet other participants and future ski partners. After the tip of the day, we will likely break into small groups based on ski style and speed. Each session will be 1.5 to 2 hours long.

What to bring:

Be sure to bring a headlamp for the evening sessions. Both classic and skate skis are encouraged! Please bring everything you need to be comfortable for an evening of Nordic skiing (skis, poles, gloves, headband, hat, buff, etc.).

Who can come?

All skiing speeds are welcomed! Skiers should be able to ski at least 3km/1.9mi of trail. This event series isn’t intended for people who haven’t skied before. If it’s your first-time Nordic skiing or you are looking to learn, we recommend booking a lesson with Teton Nordic Ski School. SheJumps welcomes all women and girls—transgender and cisgender, as well as non-binary people to attend this series.
