Located 19 miles south of Jackson, approximately a 30-minute drive. From Jackson, head south to Hoback Junction, then right on Hwy 89 South toward Alpine. After 3 miles, cross the red Astoria Bridge, turn left, and proceed to the Snake River Sporting Club gate. Follow signs to the ClubHouse.
Description:
Snake River Sporting Club Nordic offers a groomed trail network along the Snake River, meandering through cottonwood groves. The trails are well-maintained and suitable for all skill levels, with daily grooming. Wildlife sightings, including elk herds and bald eagles, are possible along the route.
Skiing Experience: The trails are relatively flat to gently rolling, making them ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers. Classic and skate skiing options are available. Please note that dogs are not allowed for guests.
Winter Grooming: Trails are groomed daily, providing a smooth surface for skiing. Be prepared for winter conditions and dress accordingly.
Dog Owners: Dogs are not permitted for guests on the trails.
Summer Conditions: During the summer, the trails offer opportunities for hiking and exploring the Snake River area. Check with the club for seasonal activities and offerings.
Note: The Snake River Sporting Club Restaurant is open for lunch from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Wednesday through Sunday. Please note that there is no cell service in this section of the Snake River Canyon. However, WiFi is available in the Clubhouse for your convenience.

Directions:
Beginnings: Check in at the Snake River Sporting Club ClubHouse Winter Sports Shop to purchase your trail pass and rent equipment if needed. Trail maps are provided.
Uphill Stretch: Start from the ClubHouse or continue directly from the Front Nine Trail. The Back Nine Trails consist of a series of loops, including the Ranch Trail, 10-11-18 Loop, and Trout Creek Loop.
Views: Enjoy scenic views of the Snake River and surrounding landscape as you ski through the cottonwood groves.
Return: Follow the groomed trail back to the ClubHouse after completing your chosen loops.
