Partner Report: Camino Conmigo on the Trail
Camina Conmigo, the Jackson Hole outdoor recreation group lead by Miriam Morillon and her husband Roney de la Cruz, explored the skier tracked trails of South Grand Teton National Park on Sunday afternoon. Our group of Nordic skiers, some experienced, some first timers, explored the Moose-Wilson road out to LSR on a beautiful, sunny, windless day. Miriam led some warm-up exercises on the trail to get everyone set to ski and have fun. A JH Nordic Alliance volunteer shared tips, tricks and trail etiquette while enjoying the ski with the group, including how to follow along on the map on the jhnordic.com gps map on a phone. We skied out along the Moose-Wilson road and returned by the mile-long meadow, east of the outbound trail.
Nordic Alliance Borrow Closet
Editor’s note: To support getting groups like the one hosted by Camino Conmigo out on winter trails, the Nordic Alliance has a borrow closet of skis, boots, and poles that we are happy to loan. The borrow closet is funded through Salomon, one of our platinum sponsors. Please reach out to hello@jhnordic.com if you are part of an organization that would maybe like to take a group out on winter trails!
