Trail Creek Report

Race Week!
The second of three junior national qualifier races takes place this weekend at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Utah.  Many of our racers will be making the southerly migration beginning after school on Wednesday.  If you are itching to go somewhere, why not south to Utah, click on the image above for race details.

Here at Trail Creek today it is a lovely, if somewhat chilly day.  As of 11:15 AM there is a perfect blue sky, no wind, and a temperature of -16ºC/3ºF.  Today’s grooming was a complete skate set of almost all trails with a few new twists hinting at the upcoming Moose Chase which is only 33 days away.  While there are a few grouser tracks showing through, both skating and classic skiing should be nice today.  Later in the week you’ll have plenty of room with many of the teams away and snow returns tomorrow for the rest of the week as well which should bring warmer temps along with the fresh coat of white to the trails.

Turpin Meadow Ranch Grooming Report

Last Updated: 1/14 @ 4pm

They say you can’t buy happiness, but you can buy a trail pass to Turpin which is essentially the same thing! Our daytime high was -5.5*C/22*F and overnight low was -24*C/-11*F. These sunny days have been warming up quickly and everyone is smiling. With snow in the forecast it’s worth soaking up a little extra vitamin D, we hope to see you up here!
