of Nordic skiing in Jackson Hole
In Memory of Jack
Jack was the founder of Teton Pines Nordic Center, Owner-operator for over 25 years. Father, husband, friend to many, a wonderful community member who will be missed.
Please join the Bellorado family and the Jackson Hole Nordic community this Saturday at Teton Pines Nordic Center for a ski day to honor Jack. Meet at 3:45pm this Saturday March 9, at the ski rack outside the nordic center ready to ski. A few people close to Jack will share some stories and then we will head out for a short ski on the Greens Loop. Light refreshments and drinks will follow inside the nordic center.
Please give us a call if you have any questions at: (307)733-1733. We are located at Teton Pines Country Club: 3450 Clubhouse Wilson, WY 83014.

Looks a Bit Like Winter!
About 8 inches of snow fell in the past 24 hours at Trail Creek with noon conditions being light snow, light to moderate breezes, and a temperature of 1ºC/34ºF. Today’s grooming has been somewhat limited as we have been running diagnostics on the Pisten Bully for most of the morning, trying to isolate a problem that is preventing smooth operation. While the Pisten Bully is still functioning, it would be nice to have it at 100% so we are continuing to research the problem.
Today’s grooming so far has been multiple Pisten Bully passes of the close field with fresh classic tracks with some rolling in the East Fields.
Groomer’s choice for today is to find the bug in the Pisten Bully.

Last call: this is the closing weekend for Turpin’s winter season. Come build strength, balance, and confidence through Nordic sport. The trails are in great shape, the food is mouthwatering, and there are still a few rooms available if you want to stay this weekend. Monday March 11 is the last day that trails will be groomed and lunch will be served this winter.

It looks mostly cloudy up in GTNP, but don’t let that keep you from skiing Taggart Lake Trailhead to Signal Mountain today.

Come out and ski!! The sun is out and the skate skiing is awesome!! The classic track is groomed but the skate conditions are better. The next few mornings will start with cold temps so we recommend waiting until mid-morning once things soften up. March is here, so expect the freeze thaw cycle to continue for the remainder of the season. We are open 9am-4pm daily. Please give us a call at: (307)733-1733 with questions.

Alta Track
Grooming Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
Last Updated: 3/7 @ 9am
Skate: Fair | Classic: Good
Had to stop grooming at 8am. The snowmobile skis and track were starting to damage the skate lane and snow was too sticky to cover it with the groomer. Before stopping, the classic track was set on all but the inner loops on the north half of the track. Skate lane was touched up on all of the south half and none of the North. Classic skiing should be pretty good. Skating will be just okay. Will update the report if able to make any other improvements (temperature dependent).

I rolled down the wet mess. It is wet, slow, and soft but skiable. If the temps drop tonight it should help a lot.

Did a few more laps on Yeti’s Loop Friday afternoon with the old ginzu. Got it cleaned up and buffed out. Also set a classic track that will work well for classic skiing counter-clockwise.
Mike Harris should be plowed this morning…thank you Skyliners! Please park efficiently as the lot can only accommodate about nine vehicles. Are you enjoying this new trail?
