And there is much to look forward to

The holidays have come to close but winter is just beginning and there is still so much to look forward to this season! While we all may be getting back into our everyday routines don’t forget to make getting out on winter trails your standard. With more tracks becoming available and endless miles of places to explore off trail you have lots of options for xc skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking.

Trip reports are often the most fun things for our community to view. If you have any stories or photos to share, we would love to hear from you. Let’s make this season memorable together!

Skiing with friends makes it easier to make your own skier tracked trails.

The Power of Positive Attitudes

Adapting to winter with specialized equipment, layers, and smiles.

It’s hard to describe winter as an easy season, magical yes, but easy? Not so much. Just like the wildlife of this area we too have to make special adaptations to thrive in this season. In addition to good layers and specialized equipment a positive attitude can carry us through any challenge.

The January Nordic Newsletter from the Jackson Hole Ski Club (JHSC) Nordic Program was just published yesterday and it contains delightful content, lighthearted photos and encouraging messaging on this very topic.
