Groomer’s Comments: 8:15am: Cache Creek has been groomed and it is in great shape. The classic is somewhat shallow in spots but still very skiable. I am heading to Game Creek and I should be done around 11:15am.
11:30am: Game Creek has been groomed and in great shape. The classic track is shallow in spots but usable and the skate lane should be great. I will groom Cache and Game again on Thursday if conditions allow.
Teton County/Jackson Parks & Rec will extend our grooming season for Cache Creek and Game Creek until Saturday, March 24. Grooming will take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, March 20-March 24.
Groomer’s Comments – Turpin Meadow Ranch has closed for the winter season. Last trail grooming day was March 4th. The trails are open to skiers, fat bikes, and snowshoes, however, there will be no grooming, so expect to break trail. Some trail may continue to be packed by passing snowmobiles.
The TMR Lodge is closed until late spring.
See you this summer or next winter!
Back in reality in Wyoming we are having some really good skiing on this first day of spring. While there wasn’t quite enough snow for fresh classic tracks, the Ginzu Groomer made two passes of the entire network resulting in some pretty nice skate lanes. Classic skiers will be able to either utilize pretty good tracks with an inch of light snow or just jump on the skate lanes.
The elk have been having quite a party in the Woolsey Woods area, while they are definitely more wary of Nordic skiers than moose, they have relaxed a bit over the winter and you might catch a glimpse if you head that way.
Look for grooming Thursday and Saturday morning with grooming to be determined depending on weather and skier traffic after that. 11:15 AM conditions are cloudy, a light breeze, and a temperature of -1ºC/30ºF.
Groomer’s Choice for today is the East Fields.

Groomer’s Comments: Conditions continue to provide excellent Nordic skiing. Look for light snow to fall over the next several days which should make for an enjoyable outing. Another update will be sent once conditions change. Enjoy!
Groomer’s Comments – Skiing no longer possible. Bare ground everywhere, and the classic track is all but melted away. Single Track Conditions (Updated 3/18, 7:22pm) – Excellent. Laid down a sunset groom. Already fast and firm, should be bomber in the AM! Probably best to avoid midday if warm. Go ride!!!
Groomer’s Comments: Tuesday morning: Made 3 passes around track with the drag. An inch of cold, new, snow, allowed track to groom out well. Still decent coverage, considering, a bit of brush here and there.
Single Track Conditions (Updated 3/20, 8:05 am): Fair, Getting Thin

While many of us dream of clipping into our skis for early-season skiing in Jackson Hole, this November, you can still see the roots and rocks beneath your feet. A forecast predicts another 3 inches of snow this weekend in Jackson, with a few more inches expected into Thanksgiving week, and we’re all ready for it. Until then, we patiently wait for the snow to fall, fill in nicely, and for temperatures to drop, creating… Read More
