Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club – IMD Opener / Betty Woolsey Classic

The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club will be hosting the IMD Nordic Opener at Trail Creek Nordic Training Center. Come out to support and watch your home town athletes!

Intermountain and High Plains Junior National Qualifier and Wyoming High School race series:

December 13-15 at Trail Creek Ranch in Wilson, WY.  

December 13-14 IMD and High Plains FIS events will be held December 13-14.

December 13-14 WY High School events.

Betty Woolsey Classic

This event commemorates Betty Woolsey, a ski racing Olympian and the founder of Trail Creek Ranch. During her lifetime, Betty Woolsey pioneered backcountry skiing on Teton Pass, opened Trail Creek to JHSC for Nordic skiing in 1967, and helped the JHSC Nordic and biathlon programs get off the ground.  

A note from the Trail Creek Nordic Center Groomers: Betty Woolsey Race is on for this upcoming weekend!  Whether or not we will have a classic track is still waiting to see how the snow forecast develops this week. 

The crew has been putting lots of effort into buffing out the Close Field trails and the 10k course will be laps in the Close Field.  Start time is 3:30, registration closes the night before/.
