Time for Old Bill's Fun Run!

Providing critical support for the JH Nordic Alliance.

Fueled by Nordic enthusiasts, useful to all who play on winter trails.

Collectively we are a bunch of Nordic enthusiasts who want to help more people get out on skinny skis because we love skiing! A lot! It is good for our hearts and souls, our strength, agility and longevity. A cross-country ski can be a calming respite or a super hard work-out. Nordic skiing connects us deeply to this place we love. In turn, connection inspires stewardship. And while Nordic was the impetus for this community trails resource, we embrace fat biking, snowshoeing, winter trail running and walking, and dog walking too.

Together as an alliance of more than 30 business, agency and non-profit partners, plus a whole bunch of community members, we help build and support the winter trails ecosystem, produce a comprehensive online winter trails resource and promote responsible recreation on both sides of the Tetons.

You can help more people get outside on winter trails.

Old Bill's Fun Run logo

Old Bill’s Fun Run has raised over $280 million for nonprofits in Teton County, WY. At Old Bill’s, nonprofits receive 100% of gifts, plus a partial match from the Jackson Hole Community Foundation.

The giving season starts August 15th and ends September 12th.

Find all of the participating nonprofits, including many Nordic Alliance partners, on the Old Bill's page. You can designate gifts to more than one organization with a single contribution. Check, wire or ach puts your entire gift to work for us. Credit cards carry a small fee but are also gratefully accepted. How easy is that?

Stop by to say hi after you run on Saturday, September 6th!

Make a gift today, or before 5pm on 9/12/25.

Let's "pole together" for Nordic and winter trails.

Over 210,000 users are out on groomed trails each winter. If you slow down to say hi, avoid the classic track when you skate ski, or share how to get to a beginner-friendly trail with your new co-worker, you help maximize the fun for everyone. Thanks!

The Nordic Alliance, with support from the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board, is beginning a roving winter trail ambassador program to further the excellent work and results of the GTNP and Bridger-Teton winter trail ambassadors.

Whether you donate to the alliance through Old Bill's, come out and volunteer, or share trail etiquette tips with a smile when you are out for a ski, it takes the whole community to care for winter trails.

Join us in stewarding our winter trails.
