Tune in to listen to our very own, Community Connector Nancy Leon and her interview at KHOL studios on how JH Nordic Alliance came about. Nancy is the Executive Director of Jackson Hole Nordic Alliance. She shares her enthusiasm for cross-country skiing, fat biking and snowshoeing. The Alliance provides accurate and community-powered information. Keeping the public well informed on recreation in the Teton area is a goal everyone can get on board with.

Making Outdoor Recreation Available to Everyone

Nancy advocates for all those who are interested in outdoor recreation. Her passion about the public having trusted information on trails has brought an entire community of like-minded people together. Information on trails can be accessed at a moments notice and anytime one needs. She helps coordinate clinics, races, trail grooming, and more. Nancy remains motivated to ensure that the town of Jackson and surrounding area remains a large draw for outdoor winter recreation enthusiasts.

Make sure to stay tuned to community events through the website and social media. Local events in the winter season in the ski community are always going on around Jackson. Lastly, learn more about the community event this Sunday, January 8th. It is our 5th Annual Event Free Ski, Fat Bike and Snowshoe Event at Turpin Meadow Ranch from 9:30 am – 3 pm.

Again, community connector Nancy Leon strives to push forward the mission and vision of JH Nordic. JH Nordic wants to ensure all have access and information needed for nordic skiing in the Greater Teton area. Make sure to thank Nancy for all she does for the community if you see her at events or in town!
