Located 1 mile southeast of Jackson Town Square, the trailhead is situated at the corner of Hansen and Rancher Streets. Follow Broadway east and turn right on Rancher Street. Continue south to Hansen. Street parking is available.

Description:

Wayne May Park, also known as May Park, is a recently established in-town park nestled in East Jackson. The park features a level trail groomed by Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation. This trail is ideal for kids and beginner skiers, providing a convenient location for quick laps or a space to learn skiing or snowshoeing on easy groomed terrain. As a city park, it welcomes walkers and skiers of all ages and abilities. Please be considerate to fellow trail users, share the trail, and refrain from walking or disturbing the groomed surface.

Skiing Experience: Kid-friendly and suitable for beginners, May Park's groomed trail offers an accessible option for in-town skiing and snowshoeing.

Directions: Easily accessible from both Hansen and Rancher Streets. The May family barn and grain storage bin, retaining their historic charm, are notable features in the middle of the park.

Winter Grooming: The trail is groomed twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather and snow conditions permitting.

Dog Owners: Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
